About Towers Trail

Towers Trail is a Town of Cochrane neighbourhood on the southwest edge of town, roughly 1.7 km from downtown and sharing a boundary with Bow Meadows. It is one of the few places in Cochrane where two very different ways of living sit inside the same neighbourhood line: apartment-style condos at the town end of George Fox Trail, and large country parcels along Towers Trail itself as the road climbs out toward the foothills.

The condo side is anchored by Lofts on the Bow at 77 George Fox Trail — a four-storey building whose suites account for the large majority of the neighbourhood's 88 civic addresses on their own. The country side is a short, unhurried run of acreage-scale properties with rural-format addresses in the 255000s, the kind that come with room for a shop and a mountain view from the driveway. Most buyers arrive wanting one or the other; it is worth knowing both are here, a few hundred metres apart.

Because the housing is so mixed, so is the pricing — condo suites and country parcels are effectively two different markets sharing a postal route, so any Towers Trail property is worth valuing on its own terms. Buyers looking at the country end also tour Rolling Range Estates just to the south; buyers looking at the condo end usually compare Bow Meadows and Downtown.

Naming note: you may see these lands called Rolling Trails. That is the name of the Town's area redevelopment plan (Bylaw 17/2023), which covers Towers Trail and neighbouring Rolling Range Estates together — read what the plan is. Towers Trail is the neighbourhood; Rolling Trails is the plan.

Frequently Asked

Towers Trail FAQs

What kinds of homes are in Towers Trail?
Two very different kinds. Most of the neighbourhood's addresses are suites in Lofts on the Bow, a four-storey condo building at 77 George Fox Trail. The rest are a small number of large country properties along Towers Trail and Rolling Range Drive. There is very little conventional detached housing in between.
Where exactly is Towers Trail?
On the southwest edge of Cochrane, about 1.7 km from downtown, sharing its northern boundary with Bow Meadows and its southern boundary with Rolling Range Estates. It is inside the Town of Cochrane, not Rocky View County.
Is Towers Trail the same as Rolling Range Estates?
No. They are two separate neighbourhoods on the Town of Cochrane's own map, and they sit next to each other. Towers Trail is the in-town one with the condo building; Rolling Range Estates is the acreage pocket further south. They share one street name, Rolling Range Drive, which is where the confusion usually starts.
Then what is Rolling Trails?
It is a plan, not a place. The Rolling Trails Area Redevelopment Plan (Bylaw 17/2023) is the Town's framework for redeveloping the Towers Trail and Rolling Range lands over time. There is no neighbourhood called Rolling Trails.
Who should be looking here?
Two groups. Buyers who want a lock-and-leave condo close to downtown and the Bow, at a price point well under a detached Cochrane home. And buyers who want acreage-scale land while staying inside town limits — a genuinely short list of properties. Ask us what is actually available, because in a neighbourhood this small the answer changes quickly.
